Excellent finish

It can be left unpainted for a natural, off white finish. They are applied using standard plastering tools and techniques without any additional training requirement.

Trusted performance

Tough, hard wearing finish

Designed for improved impact resistance compared to traditional lime mortar. This makes it ideal for busy domestic or commercial environments where walls may be damaged.

Reduces mould growth

Improved breathability and less retained moisture helps to avoid mould growth and efflorescence. Lime is naturally aseptic and inhibits the growth of bacteria and mould.

Quick drying

Rapid drying and can decorate in just 24 hours.

Reduced shrinkage

Low shrinkage and high flexibility reduces the chances of cracking and crazing.

BBA approved system

The Limelite Breathable Plaster System has been independently verified and certified by the BBA.

Repair of damp or flooded properties

Can be applied to damp walls, making it a fast, effective solution for repair of flood damaged buildings. As it is breathable, it allows any moisture still present in the substrate to be released. It also helps to mitigate future flood damage by helping surfaces to dry out more quickly.

Fire resistance and thermal performance

Lime is Fire resistant – non-combustible to comply with BS476:4. The Limelite Breathable Plaster system has been proven to enhance the insulation properties of a wall.
